The AMEK BB100 Series maintains an AMEK tradition for high quality Broadcast orientated consoles.

AMEKs long experience of building audio mixing consoles has produced design principals which are found in the BB100. These includes the use of a sturdy welded steel chassis and rigid PCB motherboards using gold plated connectors for module connections. The basic architecture of this console has been derived from the long standing success of the BCIII and the TAC Bullet.

This new compact console is a high quality audio mixing console designed specifically for Broadcast applications. It includes, as standard, Mute Groups, Cleanfeeds and Fader Starts.

Unlike its competitors, the BB100 takes the industry-wide expertise of AMEK with its established reputation for manufacturing broadcast, studio and live consoles for the world's leading audio production houses. The AMEK design process has, we believe, resulted in a higher quality of signal path, equalisation, general audio performance and a feature set than you cannot buy elsewhere for the same money.

The design objective of making this a better product for the price resulted in an intensive design program which would enable us to overcome the cost factors which are normally a barrier to using such a high standard of electronics in the this type of product, whilst maintaining the flexibility of its more expensive brother, the BCIII. Upon careful study, it can be seen that particular attention was paid to the the BB100 specifications which are not normally found in this price range.

External interfacing, to professional standards, is provided not only by electronically-balanced inputs but also by electronically balanced Stereo, Auxiliary, Cleanfeed and Group outputs.

Finally, it should be noted that the 'Sound' of the AMEK by Langley products, as heard in the Equaliser and Mic Amplifier, is a firm favorite with many thousands of users worldwide.
