No, at present all our software requires too many resources for this
to work reliably.

How do I add an external effects device to my VFX list ?
A
If you wish to add another device you will need to enter the VFX setup program.
If you are running Supertrue, from your DOS prompt type
CD\SUPRTRUE\VE
and press RETURN.
If you are running Showtime type CD\SHOWTIME\VE
and press RETURN.
If you are running DMS select the VE Setup box from the Shell.
These operations will run the VFX setup program. A list of available units will
appear on the right on the screen, highlight the one you wish to use and
select ADD. The device will be added to the list of selected units. With each
selection the devices information dialogue box will open displaying the device firmware that this VFX
driver is intended to work with. Please be aware that the software supports
the use of 10 devices at one time.

What is the Delay setting for ?

The delay column is used for some devices which may require MIDI to be transmitted
at a slower rate. If any devices have trouble changing or receiving the MIDI
data try adding a delay time.

How do I open VFX in Supertrue or Showtime ?

Simply press X on the main keyboard.

How do I alter VFX controls ?
A
To change a switch, click on the switch with the left mouse button.
To change a knob, click on the knob and hold down the mouse button. Dragging the
mouse left or right will decrease or increase the setting.
To change a dual concentric type knob, click on the knob with the right
mouse button fo the inner section and the left mouse button for the outer
section. Dragging the mouse left or right will decrease or increase the setting.

What are the keyboard shortcuts for use in VFX ?

Pressing P in the VFX main screen opens the VFX Presets window. 10 presets
per device can be stored.
Pressing R in the VFX main screen toggles between the last knob changed,
previous settings and current settings.
Pressing Z in the VFX main screen enters the VFX Zoom mode which displays
the value of the parameter being changed whenever a knob is clicked to allow an
accurate setting to be made. This display can be switched off by typing Z again.
Please note that not all devices support Zoom mode.

How much memory do I need in my PC to run VFX ?

For reliable operation the PC should have at least 8 Mbytes of RAM fitted.
